KLİNİK ARAŞTIRMALAR

Yıllar içerisinde astım patogenezi ile ilgili gerçekleştirilen klinik araştırmaların büyük çoğunluğunda hem Tip-2 hem de Tip-2 olmayan astım endotiplerindeki biyobelirteç düzeylerinin tespiti amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmalar çoğunlukla serum örnekleri çalışılarak ve genellikle plasebo kontrollü dizayn edilmişlerdir. Ancak bazı çalışmalarda eksale edilen nefes yoğunlaşması (Exhaled breath condensate) yöntemi ile elde edilen materyaller de incelenmiştir. Çalışmalara detaylı olarak bakıldığından en sık araştırılan biyobelirteçlerin sitokinler olduğu, bunu lipid mediatörlerin izlediği görülmüştür. Ayrıca pek çok farklı pro-inflamatuvar ve anti-inflamatuvar etkinlikteki belirteç de araştırılmıştır. Bu kapsamda yapılan makalelerin yıllara göre dağılımı ve içeriği Tablo 1’te gösterilmiştir.
